I think I finally realized why I am not able to post frequently on my blog. No, its not the lack of time and mind. I haven’t been busy one single moment since I started this blog. Its the mind block that whatever is blogged should impress people. I try too hard to make my posts look good, funny and long. Well mister, this is not gonna continue. I have decided I’ll blog whenever and whatever I feel like. You can expect a three sentence post now and then. This is gonna be more of a poster’s blog than the reader’s blog. I know that is more like spam but what the hell I dont care, SCREW YOU READERS! Take this post for example, I am posting my mind here so most people are gonna think ‘Gosh! What a fag!’. The worst part of being me is that I clearly realize whats wrong with me yet I don’t stand up and get it corrected. Like I know what I think is immature, I am more of a wannabe, I procrastinate things when they shouldn’t be, I do things that make me look cool and not what I like,etc. Yeah screw the Reebok quote which every wannabe puts in his orkut profile. I am NOT what I am.
For the heads up, I went for a Rock Show on 26th August and it was a hell lot of fucking fun as it was my first gig in Pune. The participating bands were 13th Hour, Brute Force, Depths of Suffering and Pin Drop Violence. All these bands are indian and play Metal (one of my favourite genre). I won’t call myself a metalhead as I am more into Classic, progressive and alternative rock but good metal headbanging once in a while is irresistable. I had heard a lot about Brute Force, they had some fucking good guitar riffs and vocals. Depths of Suffering suffered most of the time with infinite technical problems but the little time they spent playing was rocking. 13th Hour I found average, nothing special about them. Couldn’t watch PDV much because I had to leave early as I got hurt in the mosh and my friends had to leave as well. That reminds me, this was one of the biggest and most violent mosh pits I have seen in person. Some douchebag hit me hard in the head though.

I remember reading about Apple releasing Safari 3 Public Beta for Windows PC 3 months back. I read it on my brother’s PC who has a strict no beta testing policy on his computer. I should say that i am always fascinated by Apple and its clean, beautiful and functional products. Now that I am back on my good old PC i gave it a try and I am in love with it. Thats probably an exaggeration but compared to reports on the Internet(mostly by stupid motherfucking Microsoft fanboys) it performs pretty damn good.
The installation was fun and easy. Just don’t select the option of downloading and installing Quicktime with it. I was a loyal iTunes user for last 3 years for its clean interface and instant search facility but had to switch over to Winamp owing to iTunes 7.*’s memory hogging and slow features. Safari with its neatness and Apple likeliness took me back to the good old days. Bookmark management system was nice as well. Changed browser fonts was a pleasant change from the same old Windows fonts used in Firefox.
No doubt that Safari is the FASTEST web browser i have ever used. The pages loaded quickly and overall function was damn fast. Me Likes!
Let me make a point very clear. Safari is NOT a memory hog for me. I don’t care how MS fanboys rape this browser to show 98766890mbs of RAM usage but for me it performs smoothly at an average 25mb RAM usage without any problems. yeah, I am talking with 6 tabs open. here is a screenshot to back me up you bozos :-
No, I am not stupid enough to put my bare ass on fire by browsing internet on a beta copy but I can’t wait for a final release of this oh so cute and fun browser to make it my default.Let the good old Firefox rule me until then Love is in the air. I know I am one hell of a lazy ass. Also I am a hateful person by nature and a small fraction of people who actually care for me must have forgotten my domain name and the others must have thrown parties by disillusion that I must have killed myself under the drug influence. Well, mates I am pretty much alive and kicking. I actually find it funny how I’ve been procrastinating a blogpost for last 10 months. Trust me, I have done absolutely nothing except wasting my time watching movies and listening to Jim Morrison ever since I got into college.
Things have changed since I last posted. To begin with, I didn’t get admitted in engineering after staying in Pune for a month and watching the engineering students slogging their asses day and night. I am simply not made for that kind of hard work so I chose to do B.C.A from MIT, Pune. The course is so easy that I am scoring pretty good without attending the classes at all. Now, thats life! I am living in a flat in Pune with five of my friends and life is pretty much fun. Its much better than living practically alone in Delhi and yet theres so much freedom.
Then, my taste in music has changed a lot, shifting from Progressive rock to classic rock and psychedelic trance. Still can’t get my head off the good old System Of A Down and Tool but I am more into The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, etc. Psychedelic trance is one hell of a genre which was pretty much undiscovered by me until on my friends made me listen to it a few months back. I am into G.M.S., Skazi, Mahadeva, Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom, Chakra, Transwave and any other kind of Goa Trance as of now. I like what it does to me and the feeling is pretty much close to getting high. In fact psytrance is the best genre to listen while getting high.
My bookshelf currently contains The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand and thankfully I don’t care much for Howard Roark instead of getting highly influenced by his infectious character. I’ve heard people getting beaten up for a typical Howard Roark behaviour after reading that book. Londonstani is another nice book I am reading simultaneously as I have nothing much to do after my exams just got over.
Another good news is that my parents are generous enough to take me for a trip to Europe. The bad news is that I am not researching much about it out of laziness and because I am going with my parents. Here is my itinerary if you are lame enough to want to take a look into it. The only thing I am excited about is my first visit to Amsterdam, the doper’s paradise. I hope I’ll be able to smoke a joint or two in a hash bar out there.
Thats it for now. I hope i have gotten over my unwillingness to make a blogpost and will be able to post frequently from now on. But thats a promise I make every time I post so don’t believe every word I type.
Long time. For once, I am not to be blamed. Thing are not so lazy after my 12th grades results are declared and I don’t need to get into any shameful and guilty details. I had to get into the usual well deserved hunt for a decent institute on this shady score when unlimited scholars in the country with the modest attitude were hoarding all around. Blame it on the population and not procrastination until last moment.
Anyway, somehow through a friend I came to know of Pune institutes where admission is possible with proper sources and a cost. Now that my scores for 10th grade were pretty decent my dad agreed to stake on this one last chance. We made an immediate trip to Pune and came to know of this excellent institute called ‘Pune Institute Of Computer technology’. Luckily with proper sources and an NRI quota charge, we have been assured of the admission as of now. Gotta reach there on 9th August and get myself admitted hopefully.
Until then I have been reading a lot, eating a lot, sleeping a lot and surprisingly exercising a lot. Been listening to Metallica and watching the watched episodes of Family Guy for the nth time.
I was to write a longer post but somehow I seem to have lost my writing skills( they weren’t there in first place). I’d rather sign off and hit the publish button before this ******, *******, ******** and ********** dial-up disconnects yet again. Bbye.
